We're thinking hard about podcasting the ScotSoft2006 conference. This year's speakers are seriously heavyweight international guys and podcasting will give us a more permanent "take-away" from the conference.
Personally, I find I miss so much I'd like to listen to, and my current favourite is to download all those great comedy programmes on Radio 4 like the Now! show, and listen to them in the car when I am battling my way across the M8. But I heard a good business webinar the other day and thought it would have been even better if it had been a podcast. I spend quite a bit of time in the car and its a great way to eat up the miles.
Lots of people are experimenting with this format, and I notice out-law.com have just launched 'out-law radio' a weekly podcast of legal and business stories. Now if someone could just podcast a weekly digest of all those business articles in Red Herring I ought to read but never get time for.
So anyway, I'm off to talk to some podcast wizards on how we capture Jeff Wacker, Chief Futurist at EDS, et al for the ipod generation...
